About the event
Friendly Society pharmacies have always offered more than a dispensary counter. The Friendlies Conference 2026 brings delegates together to explore more broadly what it means to grow beyond dispensing, while making sure the fundamentals that future proof that growth are firmly in place.
The sector is navigating real change, creating both risk and opportunity for Friendly Societies deciding how and where to grow. This conference is designed to help delegates plan and meet that change head-on rather than simply respond to it.
Three themes run through the two days.
The first is the strength of the mutual model itself, what cooperative structure offer that other pharmacy businesses may not.
The second is diversification, exploring where Friendly Societies can extend beyond the dispensary.
The third is future-fit operations, including the expansion of scope of practice, new quality systems and cyber security to grow and protect your business.
